This lake is just five minutes from our accommodation!

The water is eighteen to twenty metres deep. We are told there are very big fish down there. There is a quiet bar/restaurant, a massive barbecue where your catch can be cooked and it has a spit that could take a dozen chickens. For those who don’t fish, he can supply ready caught fish for the barbecue or taking home. The lake being at about 410 metres altitude, the air is clean and fresh and there is plenty of shade under the young oaks for chilling out on a hot summer’s day.
